Finance Functional Consultant - Infor LN

Gleeson Recruitment Group • Full-time • Remote (GB) • £75k - £85k / year • 1w ago

The Opportunity:

We are working with a growing international organisation undertaking a significant transformation of its business systems and ERP landscape.

As part of this investment, they are establishing a dedicated Business Systems Rollout Team to take greater ownership of ERP deployments and create a consistent, scalable approach to rolling out Infor CloudSuite across multiple sites.

They are now looking for an experienced Finance Functional Consultant to take ownership of finance process design and the functional deployment of the ERP across the organisation.

This is an opportunity to join an established transformation programme at an important stage, with multiple international rollouts planned across the coming years.

The Role:

As the Finance Functional Consultant, you will own the end-to-end finance process design and site-level deployment of the Infor LN solution.

You will work closely with the Programme Manager, Solution Architect, Supply Chain & Operations Functional Lead, system integrators and local finance teams to ensure finance processes are standardised, efficient and consistently deployed across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

Owning end-to-end finance process design across the business.
Covering key areas including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Costing, Intercompany and Tax.
Leading fit-gap analysis for each new site deployment.
Working with finance stakeholders to determine "adopt vs adapt" decisions.
Ensuring the global finance template remains consistent and reusable.
Leading finance process workshops with business and site stakeholders.
Supporting and overseeing SIT and UAT activities.
Coordinating local finance stakeholders through testing, training and go-live.
Maintaining finance process documentation and rollout playbooks.
Identifying process deviations and ensuring they are appropriately governed.
Capturing lessons learned from each deployment and feeding these back into the core model.
Working alongside the Solution Architect to ensure finance requirements translate effectively into the wider solution.
Supporting the Programme Manager with site readiness and deployment planning.

The role will give you significant influence over how finance processes are standardised and deployed globally, rather than focusing solely on system configuration.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced Finance Functional Consultant with strong ERP implementation experience and a solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes.

You will ideally have:

Strong experience working on Infor LN / Infor CloudSuite implementations.
Significant functional experience across Finance.
Strong knowledge of core finance processes including GL, AP/AR, costing, intercompany and/or tax.
Experience leading fit-gap analysis and finance process design.
Experience working within a global or multi-site ERP rollout environment.
Strong understanding of standardisation and template-led ERP deployment.
Experience leading business process workshops.
Experience across SIT, UAT, training and go-live activities.
Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly when working with different site requirements and competing priorities.
The ability to challenge requests for local customisation and identify when a genuine business-critical deviation is required.
A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join a newly structured internal Business Systems team and play a key role in shaping the organisation's future ERP capability.

You will have the opportunity to:

Own the Finance functional template.
Influence global finance process design and standardisation.
Work across multiple international ERP deployments.
Shape how future sites adopt the Infor solution.
Work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders.
Help move the organisation away from fragmented, site-led implementations.
Build a scalable approach that can be reused across future rollouts.
Play a key role in the retirement of legacy ERP systems.

If you are an experienced Infor Finance Functional Consultant looking for an opportunity to take genuine ownership of global process design and ERP deployment, we'd be keen to hear from you.
