IT Project Manager / PMO - 6 mth FTC

My global manufacturing client is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with strong PMO skills to join their team on a 6 month FTC basis (This may be extended to perm)

This role requires someone who can confidently operate at both a strategic and operational level. Someone who understands the "big picture" of programme delivery while maintaining a sharp focus on detail. You will be a strong multitasker with excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across project teams, suppliers, and senior leadership.

Essential Skills

Mid Level IT projet manager with programme delivery experience
Expert knowledge on data analysis - particularly using Power BI and ideally Planview (but this is also not mandatory)
Experience of working across multiple projects and portfolios
Sector experience from industries with strong project management rigor, such as banks,
manufacturers, utility companies.
Experience with platforms like health and safety, manufacturing, SAP/ERP, network infrastructure
deployment, and Microsoft suite deployments
Less emphasis on software engineering experience.
Strong PMO experience
Required tools include BI, Planview, and good Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Comfort with creating delivery plans in Excel is expected.
Must have a strong understanding of dependencies in IT Project Lifecycles
Candidates need technical expertise and experience in solution/engineering environments.

Role Requirements

The role is primarily a project/delivery manager position with minimal PMO reporting, focusing on project execution, supplier management, managing allocated funds, reporting on spending, and project deployment.
The new role will support IT PM from a PMO perspective, focusing on reporting (predominantly finance) for 30% of the time.
The remaining 70% will involve organizing the portfolio and working on other projects.
The role involves managing IT applications across various areas (office suites, manufacturing systems, corporate applications).
Mandate to improve efficiency in licensing and deployment.
Candidates need technical expertise and experience in solution/engineering environments.

The role is office-based in Paddington, requiring 3-4 days a week on-site (Friday at home) This is a 6 months FTC role but likely to be extended. The ideal candidate will be able to start ASAP so apply now to find out more.
