Senior Microsoft Dynamics NAV Developer

CV-Library • Permanent • Northamptonshire, United Kingdom • 4d ago

Are you a Navision expert who thinks about the whole system before writing a single line of code? This is a chance to join a Microsoft Gold Partner where quality comes first and your work genuinely matters.

The business

This partner has no sales team. They don't need one. Every new customer comes to them through reputation alone, earned through consistently excellent service and delivery. They specialise in highly customised BC/NAV solutions and look after some of the most complex systems in the market.

The role

You'll work directly on the systems of their largest and most important customers. This isn't a role where you're handed a spec and told to code it. You'll:

Analyse customer systems in depth and understand how everything fits together

Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and the business need behind them

Design and write robust code that solves the problem without breaking anything else

Take a step back to see the wider picture, considering the impact of every change across the whole solution

Take ownership of your work from analysis through to delivery

What you'll bring

Expert level Navision / Dynamics NAV development experience

Strong C/AL and C/SIDE skills

Proven experience working on complex, highly customised NAV systems

A methodical, analytical approach with a strong understanding of system architecture

Confidence engaging with customers and translating requirements into technical solutions

Why join?

A highly competitive salary that reflects your expertise

Flexible hybrid working shaped around your needs

A collaborative, inclusive team who are passionate about what they do and take real pride in their work

The chance to work on the most significant customer systems in the business

A partner with a reputation built entirely on quality, where doing things properly is valued

If you're a NAV developer who enjoys understanding the full picture and wants to be part of a team that's respected for doing things the right way, I'd love to hear from you.
