Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards

Perform carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, furniture, or framing structures

Handle plumbing repairs including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing fixtures

Carry out roofing repairs or maintenance to ensure structural integrity and weatherproofing

Apply construction painting techniques to refresh walls, ceilings, or exterior surfaces

Execute masonry work such as bricklaying or concrete repairs for durability and aesthetic appeal

Use hand tools and power tools safely for fabrication, welding, electrical installations, or general repairs

Collaborate with team members on larger projects requiring specialized skills or fabrication work

Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used to ensure accountability and efficiency
Skills

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work or related fields

Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools for various repair and fabrication tasks

Ability to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions quickly

Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges

Good physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks in diverse environments

Clear understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and maintenance activities

Ability to read technical diagrams or blueprints is a plus but not required
