We're currently working with a couple of growing business in Newcastle that are looking to appoint experienced Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable professionals on a contract basis. These roles are ideal for candidates who are available immediately and can quickly add value within a busy finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Managing supplier statement reconciliations
Resolving invoice queries and building strong supplier relationships
Preparing and processing payment runs
Supporting month-end activities
Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls

About You:

Previous experience within Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable
Available immediately or at short notice
Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables and data manipulation
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with a proactive approach to problem solving
