The ERP Platform team, part of Platforms and Delivery Division is responsible for managing and maintaining SJP’s Unit4 ERP system, deployed in a SaaS model, ensuring the smooth operation of system processes, automations, and interfaces, as well as handling Unit4 upgrades, governance, and compliance activities. Its primary focus is delivering a backlog of continuous improvement enhancements and critical changes, while also collaborating with Unit4 partners and third parties on larger-scale initiatives involving the ERP system, covering design, build, and testing activities.
The ERP Technical and Reporting Specialist is pivotal in shaping and optimising our Unit4 ERP environment. Acting as a subject matter expert for core modules, you will provide advanced reporting expertise across tools such as Report Engine, Info Browsers, dashboards, and workspaces. The ERP Technical and Reporting Specialist will also assist in the reduction of Technical Debt in the U4ERP system.
What you’ll be doing:
- Reviewing amendment logging and data control configuration.
- Implementing data archiving and deletion routines across finance, HR and payroll.
- Reviewing and streamlining of existing automations (Intellagent) including AG16 code.
- Converting Excelerator SQL reports to info browsers and desktop browsers into info browsers.
- Managing conflicting priorities, control the quality and integrity of the system and manage project budgets.
- Building strong relationships with our key stakeholders around the business and effectively communicate with all levels to ensure teams are engaged with the strategy.
Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Unit 4 subject matter expert who can demonstrate a proven track record across a diverse range of ERP change requests and projects.
Essential Criteria
- Experience of designing and implementing complex solutions using the Unit4 ERP product and delivering business and systems consultancy.
- Ability to design and implement advanced solutions across a broad range of Unit4 ERP modules. With particular focus on Financials, Logistics and Common.
- Thorough knowledge and experience of Unit4 reporting tools and data structures including Report Engine, Info browsers, dashboards and workspaces.
- Proficiency in the use of SQL in reporting, alerting and automation.
- Good familiarity with UNIT4 API and automation techniques
- Familiarity with Unit4 public APIs and Extension Kit.
Desirable Criteria
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with experience of managing stakeholder relationships across different levels.
