The Role in Practice

You'll be based on-site at Heysham, working five days a week as part of the plant support team. You'll spend time in the control room, plant areas, and engineering office - conducting assessments, reviewing designs, supporting maintenance activities, and resolving technical issues as they arise.

This is genuine plant-facing work where your technical judgment and problem-solving skills directly impact operations. You're not designing from an office - you're supporting the running plant keeping it operational safely and efficiently.

Why This Role

Critical Infrastructure Work: Heysham is a major UK power generation site. Your work supports safe, reliable operation of essential infrastructure.

Technical Depth: EC&I support on a nuclear plant requires genuine expertise. This is rigorous, safety-critical technical work.

On-Site Presence: If you prefer hands-on, plant-facing work over office-based design, this is the role for it.
